We are excited to announce the birth of Positive Vibrations, an adventure that has been a long time coming... now that the stars and the moons have aligned, the right time has come to present the first Vortex in Johannesburg in collaboration with Red Eye. With Vortex’s long standing reputation of success and massive psychedelic gatherings in the Cape Province along with their unique style of decor and Red Eye’s many years in the scene and perseverance through events and artists promotion, it is an explosive collaboration oozing with quality of music and passion for true psychedelic trance culture.

We present you with 2 of the world's top international psy trance artists Zen Mechanics from the Netherlands and Electrypnose from Switzerland, who showcase their talents ranging in a colourful spectrum of sound, set to rock any dance floor from Rustenburg to Russia...

This trance adventure will take place on natural soil at a special farm in the Magaliesberg. With plenty of shade and camping space at the foot of rolling hills this sets the vibe for an unforgettable gathering with love for true outdoor music and people. You can also look forward to an amazing line up of South Africa's best in live acts and DJ performances.

ZEN MECHANICS - Netherlands
Zen Mechanics was launched in 2002 by the multi-talented Dutchman Wouter Thomassen, Drawing from his 12 year DJ experience, he soon caused quite a stir with his eclectic style. By fusing elements of futuristic Trance, Progressive, Ambient & Breaks into a powerfull dancefloor-friendly and atmospheric sound, he quickly gained critical acclaim and interest from a range of top labels as varied as his output (such as Aleph Zero, Iboga, Neurobiotic, Nano, Alchemy and Flow). Since then he's been travelling the planet nonstop, and booked for some of the world's biggest psychedelic festivals such as Boom, Glade, Universo Paralello, Sonica, Tribe, Solstice, Kaballah & Rainbow Serpent. Besides this, Wouter runs 2 other projects, Citizen (Progressive) and Transmissions in Bloom (Ambient/Freestyle).

ELECTRYPNOSE - Switzerland
Electrypnose, the electric hypnosis, is Vince Lebarde's multi-flavored musical project. Created in 2001, Electrypnose is exploring the electronic music-and-noise world and tries to share its sound universe. Based in Switzerland, the laboratory doesn't stop to be active since the beginning of the project. After the first track releaed in 2003 by Peak records, more than 100 pieces of work have been released on record labels from all over. Beside working in the studio, Vince is travelling regulary around the globe to present his new material and to share time with the comunity.

BIORHYTHM - Cape Town
These artists have been some of the most exciting producers who have moved their production skills onto dance floors, Born and bred in Cape Town. Bringing powerful rhythms to major events in South Africa and abroad, they have introduced their new cutting edge psychedelic sound to the world of trance. They have got their advanced diploma in sound engineering, are the founders of The Village, have been making music for over 7 years and have a variety of aliases, where they express their musical talents in other genre's. The Biorhythym live set can best be described as a raw and powerful experience. Using a wide variety of hardware and with each member bringing their own unique flavor to the table, this at holds a reputation for rocking large floors to the maximum!

RUBIX QUBE - Cape Town
Signed to Disasterpeace Records, Kieron Frederick Grieve aka Rubix Qube has to be one of Cape Town’s top producers in the business. Not only is he well known on the dancefloor, but he seems to appear on pretty much every single lineup Outdoor parties have to offer, whether it be his solo act as Rubix Qube, or group act as Biorhythm. He also produces beats across multiple different genres under different Aliases.
